I recently watched my children playing outside and it was almost surreal as though I was watching a movie in technicolor. It is days like these that I just want to hold on to and replay in my mind. They are only young for a fleeting moment (though in the thick of it, it seems like forever) and these days are all too short. But I want to remember the vibrancy, the colors, the laughter, all of it.
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.
-Robert Frost-
